Volunteer With Albia Chamber Main Street
Downtown Albia thrives because people care enough to get involved. At ACMS, volunteers are the heartbeat behind our events, our projects, and the everyday work that keeps our district vibrant. When community members step in—whether for an hour or a whole season—they help strengthen the place we all call home.
Volunteering with ACMS is flexible, meaningful, and open to all ages. You choose the opportunities that fit your interests, your schedule, and the impact you want to make.
How to Join the ACMS Volunteer Network
• Start by completing our Volunteer Enrollment Form.
• Students in grades 7–12 will also need a parent/guardian consent form before logging hours.
• Explore our list of current volunteer opportunities or reach out with ideas of your own.
• Once enrolled, volunteers can begin submitting hours through the appropriate digital form. Paper forms are available if needed.
If you’re unsure whether an activity qualifies for student service programs or ACMS volunteer credit, we’re always happy to help—just email director@albiachambermainstreet.org.
Tracking Hours & Recognition
We track volunteer service for:
• Junior High students - Teen Trailblazers
• High School students - Silver Service
• Adults 18+ - Ambassadors
As volunteers reach certain hour milestones, they’ll receive recognition and rewards that celebrate their commitment to Albia’s downtown district.
This program operates on trust. Volunteers simply record their hours and provide a contact name and phone number for the organization they served. We only reach out if clarification is needed.
Why Volunteer?
Because every hour you give helps move Albia forward.
Because your skills and energy make a difference.
Because community grows when people show up.
